GTA 6 will feature a playable female protagonist for the first time according to a report by Bloomberg. The female is Latina and will be one of a pair in a story inspired by the bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.
The report also states GTA 6 will feel very different to GTA 5 and will take place in a fictional version of Miami. Rockstar plans to update the game over time, adding new missions and cities on a regular basis. Many analysts expect GTA 6 to release in Take-Two’s 2024 fiscal year, which runs from April 2023 to March 2024, however developers aren’t too confident about the release window.
Rockstar has yet to provide any official details on the game other than it is in development, it remains to be seen whether the game will release in the window mentioned above.
