ASRock Phantom Gaming B650E PG-ITX WiFi Motherboard Review

Review by Funky Kit.

Our sister site Funky Kit published a review of the ASRock Phantom Gaming B650E PG-ITX WiFi Motherboard … you can check out the full review here.

ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi is a well-designed motherboard that delivers high performance and stability at a reasonable price. The used B650E chipset helped cut down the price without losing the motherboard’s performance or device support. The current price of the motherboard is around $350 in the Amazon store, but it can be found even cheaper. As usual, the ASRock option is one of the least expensive on the market and still provides high quality and top performance.

$350 is not a very high price compared to other motherboards, especially when we consider a robust power design, gaming features, fast networking and USB, and PCIe 5.0 graphics card and M.2 socket support. These last features let us upgrade our PC for longer and enjoy optimal performance.

The only thing I dislike is the design of the M.2 cooler. The used fan is noisy and doesn’t help much with the airflow, while the heatsink is very close to the PCIe slot. Thankfully, we can remove it if in any way it interferes with a graphics card, or our M.2 SSD already has a glued heatsink which we can’t remove.

The motherboard passed all our tests flawlessly, keeping full stability and low temperatures under high load. There were no problems with BIOS or ASRock RGB software. Also, the RAM support was perfect and didn’t cause any problems with memory training.

Final words:

The B650E PG-ITX WiFi is yet another fantastic motherboard from ASRock. It offers excellent performance, perfect stability, and good compatibility with various devices. The additional gaming features help to boost the experience while playing our favorite titles.

ASRock Phantom Gaming B650E PG-ITX WiFi deserved our Editor’s Choice Award!
