Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT TOXIC Comes With 8+8+6pin Power Connectors

Sapphire confirms its upcoming TOXIC graphics card will feature three power connectors.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 6900 XT TOXIC with its 8+8+6pin Power Connectors will work out to have a total power consumption of 450W?!

Taken from Videocardz … Sapphire has been teasing the card on Chinese social media platforms, but the global media accounts appear to be silent about this model. This might imply that the first TOXIC card based on Navi 21 GPU will launch in Asia initially. Unless there is simply a lack of coordination between PR departments over at Sapphire. However, the fact is, for the past 3 days Sapphire has released three teasers, which means that tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will finally see the card in full glory.

The latest two teasers confirm that the fans will have yellow lightning behind the fans, further reaffirms that the card is from the TOXIC series, which were usually kept in such a color scheme. The latest teaser also confirms that the card has three power connectors. Interestingly the configuration of the connectors is very unusual. Rather than three 8-pin power connectors like most Radeon RX 6900 XT custom cards, this model features dual 8-pin and a single 6-pin power connector. This implies that the card will have a maximum power of 75W (PCIe) + 150W (PEG 8pin) + 150W (PEG 8pin) + 75W (PEG 6pin) = 450W. This is 150W more than reference RX 6900 XT.
