ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming Drops to $960

This is great news. More high-end graohics cards becoming more affordable. You can check out the full review at Funky Kit.

Taken from Videocardz … The Phantom Gaming GPU based on Radeon RX 7900 XTX flagship AMD card has now dropped to $959.99. That’s a $40 discount from AMD MSRP of $999 for this card and even higher discount if ASRock’s launch price was to be considered.

Since launch, the RX 7900 XTX GPU has seen limited availability of reference models. The custom designs were even more scarce and pricing was almost certainly much higher than $999. However, as we enter fourth month of 2023, things start to look better.

Newegg and ASRock are the first companies to lower the custom RX 7900 XTX price below $999. This promotion still comes with AMD game bundle worth of $60 with the Last of Us Part 1 game indluded.

The RX 7900 XTX from ASRock is a triple-fan design equipped with three 8-pin power connectors. This is a factory-overclocked model up to 2615 MHz out of the box (so over 115 MHz boost). ASRock did not send out too many samples of this card for review, but the main drawback that was mentioned was the price. With this ‘issue’ out of the equation, one might be looking at a very interesting card with 24GB of VRAM and full Navi 31 GPU.
