Playstation VR2 Features Revealed

Sony has revealed some new features of the Playstation VR2. Users will be able to see their surroundings by using the see-through mode which uses the headset’s embedded front cameras. You will also be able to customize your play area by using the PS VR2 sense controllers to set a boundary.

There’s also broadcast feature which allows you to film yourself by connecting a HD camera to the PS5. The last feature is VR mode and cinematic mode. In VR mode, players can enjoy content in a 360 view. Content will be displayed in 4000 x 2040 HDR video format (2000 x 2040 per eye) with 90Hz/120Hz frame rate.

Cinematic mode will allow players to view the PS5 system and UI and all non-VR game and media content on a virtual cinema screen. Content in Cinematic Mode will be displayed in 1920×1080 HDR video format with 24/60Hz and also 120Hz frame rate. It sounds pretty impressive, are you looking forward to the PS VR2?

There’s still no release date but expected to release end of this year or early 2023.
