ADATA Announces XPG M.2 PS5 Compatible SSDs

ADATA Technology (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 3260.TWO), a manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, mobile accessories, gaming products, electric power trains, and industrial solutions today announces that two of its solid state drives (SSD) are fully compatible with the PS5 game console. They include the XPG S70 BLADE and the brand-new ADATA LEGEND 840. The compatibility of the SSDs were confirmed by ADATA during recent testing conducted at its research facilities.

Featuring excellent performance, heat sinks that offer effective thermal cooling, and capacities of up to 2TB, these two SSDs are great options for PS5 users to either supplement their embedded PS5 SSD or as a cost-effective way to supplant a broken embedded SSD. The both SSDs offer PS5 users different options in terms of price, performance, and capacities to meet individual needs and preferences.

ADATA LEGEND 840 M.2 2280 SSD

The LEGEND 840 is one of the latest SSD announced by ADATA. It utilizes PCIe Gen4 x4 and NVMe 1.4 to deliver read/write speeds of up to 5000/4500 MB per second for seamless and smooth game loading. The LEGEND 840 is also equipped with SLC caching and HMB technology (Host Memory Buffer).
