Wow. Imagine that … 96 Cores, that’s 192 threads! Plus you get 12-channel DDR5 memory support. That means 6 x DDR5 DIMM slots on either side of the processor socket. MIND BLOWN!

Taken from Videocardz … According to ComputerBase, the details that have leaked on the AMD SP5 socket for next-generation EPYC 7004 “Genoa” server CPU series have leaked through the Gigabyte hack. The files that are surfacing today are focusing on AMD SP5 and AM5 platforms specifically, both being AMD’s first platforms for Zen4 server and consumer platforms respectively.

The details on AMD Genoa are allegedly from documents dated July 2021, which means they are quite recent. They describe motherboard thermal and power compatibility guidelines and details on the Zen4 EPYC CPUs themselves, including the layout of the compute tiles. It is more or less confirmed at this point that EPYC 7004 series will feature up to 12 CCDs (Core Complex), each carrying up to 8 cores. This means that the top SKU in the Zen4 Genoa lineup is to future 96 cores and 192 threads. This information had leaked before and only now has it finally been confirmed.
