How fast? 90% faster than Intel’s 8-Core 6900HX Woah!
Taken from Videocardz … AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX is a 12-core and 24-threads processors based on Raphael silicon (codename Dragon Range). This mobile and desktop hybrid will power the most high-end gaming laptops based on AMD hardware, such as Alienware m16/m18, ASUS ROG Strix or Lenovo Legion. According to AMD, these CPUs are to operate with TDPs going above 55W.
The most powerful 7x45HX processor will feature 16 cores, but this SKU has not yet been tested with PassMark. The same applies to upcoming Intel Core i9-139x0HX series which are not present in the database either (but they launch in a few days).
As of now, the 7845HX is the fastest mobile CPU in the software’s database, with a score of 46791 points in multi-core test. The same CPU also scored 4003 points in a single-thread test, but both results are based on a single test run, so they may not be very accurate.
