AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Cezanne Spotted at Geekbench

These new and up-coming mobile processors from AMD looks amazing both in terms of performance and specs. Can’t wait to see some gaming laptops with some real-life performance benchmarks.

Taken from Videocardz … A new benchmark score of the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processors has been leaked through Geekbench. This CPU is the upcoming high-end 8-core mobile processor that will be offered with new notebook designs starting from next year. The CPU will be a successor to Ryzen 7 4800H which despite limited supply has clearly been the most popular choice among gamers.

The upcoming Ryzen 5000H series will be AMD’s first mobile CPU to feature Zen3 core architecture. It will also be equipped with (not so new anymore) AMD Vega graphics. While a GPU clock boost is indeed expected to be higher with this generation, the major GPU architecture upgrade is not expected till Cezanne’s successor arrives with integrated Navi GPU (most likely codenamed Rembrandt).

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is an octa-core CPU with 16-threads enabled. It will operate in a nominal TDP of 45W, which is probably going to be configurable within the 35 to 54W range, same as Renoir. With a base clock of 3.0 GHz and a boost clock of 4.45 MHz (as reported by the software), we are looking at a 300MHz and 250 MHz frequency increase over the predecessor.
