Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT GAMING OC 8G Graphics Card

Our sister site Funky Kit have published a review on the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT GAMING OC 8G Graphics Card. You can check out the full review here.

As we browsed through all the other cards in the 220 dollar price range. I will say this card is in the same price range as the 1660, 1650 Super, 1050Ti, and the RX 580. The only one that is going to beat this card is the 1660 in FPS. But this card has 8GB of Ram better than 1660’s in this price range and it has the newer Navi 7nm and the RX580 is the 14nm. I would definitely pick the newer architecture if I had to choose. Well we have come to the end and I can truly say I was impressed with how this card performed. The shroud is plastic and I have heard that some people don’t like the feel or look of it but come on you shouldn’t be constant touching or feeling your video card anyway!

I would have liked to have more RGB options but that’s just me I like the lights! The cooler performed great, the card never reached full fan speeds so this thing operated pretty quite and I use an open test bench so I notice all fan noises. The performance is pretty much on par with other card in the same price range. This card can compete with a 1660 no problem! Very nice job Gigabyte and AMD!

You can buy the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT GAMING OC 8G Graphics Card for around USD $209 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/2Wen4z7

Final Thoughts:

The Radeon RX 5500 XT GAMING OC 8G is a great entry level gaming video card. Gigabyte seems to have a pretty good grasp on what it takes to achieve superb performance and as always, it looks good while doing so!
