Our sister site Funky Kit published a review of the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming White 20GB OC Graphics Card … you can check out the full review here.

All-in-all, the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming OC White 20GB Graphics Card performed as expected. It sits nicely between the higher-end Radeon RX 7900 XTX and its close competitor, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

During our tests, we used our usual test rig, which is comprised of an Intel Core i9-14900K and Asus ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming wifi motherboard, along with 32GB of DRR5-7200 ram. With all settings on AUTO, we got really good scores in most of our benchmarks, including a high score of 18,219 for BaseMark GPU, an AMD FSR 2 score of 79.76 fps and a Passmark 10 GPU score of 34,625.

For 3DMark Timespy and Firestrike, it produced a score of 25,745 and 45,676 respectively. Next, for Speedway and Port Royal, it produce a decent score of 5,133 and 13,807 respectively.

For Unigine’s Valley benchmark, we got a respectable score of of 10,756 and a Final Fantasy benchmark score of 16,811. And finally, for Superposition 1080p extreme and optimized 4K, we got decent scores of 14,221 and 18,520 respectively.

As you can see from the results, the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming OC is a very good graphics card indeed, thanks to its factory-overclocked GPU with a Boost Clock speed of up to 2,450 MHz and a Game Clock of 2075 MHz. It’s more than enough to satisfy most enthusiast gamers, who’s after a solid 4K gaming experience.

Utilizing ASRock’s proven Phantom Gaming 3X cooling system which feature 3 striped ring fans, a reinforced metal frame and stylish metal backplate, it offers plenty of cooling for its overclocked GPU. Full load temperatures of GPU and hot spot reached a high of 57 degrees and 92 degrees Celsius, respectively.

And if you like RGB, then you’re in luck. The card comes with integrated ARGB LEDs which lights up, which you can synchronize with your ASRock motherboards that support Polychrome SYNC. If you don’t want the ARGB LEDs to light up, you can always turn it on or off via a switch which is located near the power connectors.

Monitor output includes 3 x DisplayPorts v2.1 and 1 x HDMI 2.1 port, which is plenty for most gamers. Don’t forget to enable FreeSync on the Adrenalin Software if you own a FreeSync monitor, otherwise you won’t be getting all the benefits of the graphics card or monitor.

Final Thoughts

The ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming OC White edition is a very good graphics card that offers a solid 4K gaming performance. This is all thanks to its slightly overclocked GPU, which is cooled by ASRock’s Phantom Gaming 3X cooling solution, and provides quiet operation and decent cooling. What’s more, the stunning white aesthetics is perfect for anyone who what’s to build an all-white gaming PC.
