AMD is Planning a Radeon RX 6X50XT Refresh for June/July

Are going to see a slow down in new GPU technology? What happened to RDNA3? *Sigh*

Taken from Videocardz … AMD is now rumored to be introducing a new entry-level Radeon graphics card soon. At the same time, plans for the series XT refresh are slowly being drawn.

Greymon55 appears to have new information on the upcoming AMD launch schedule. This leaker, who had 3 different nicknames in the past (and which is why some of you may not recognize him) has already correctly predicted specs and previous launch dates from AMD. In other words, there is no reason to believe that those dates might be incorrect, however, one should note that launch schedules do change a lot. This is especially important when we consider that the latest rumors target May/June/July, so still a few months ahead.

According to the latest tweet, AMD is supposedly not done with the entry-level segment just yet. The company is now supposedly planning an even cheaper Radeon RX 6000 graphics card which would cost around 130 USD (so 70 USD less than 6500 XT). This model called RX 6500 non-XT would probably borrow the specs of the RX 6400, now only available to OEMs. This card features 6nm Navi 24 GPU with 768 Stream Processors. It is equipped with 4GB GDDR6 64-bit memory. If both SKUs were to share the specs, this might actually be the first RDNA2 card for DIY market not requiring any power connectors (sub 75W power).
