AMD will Unleash Instinct MI250 HPC GPUs and Milan-X CPUs on November 8th

Love to see what the new Instinct MI250 HPC GPUs and Milan-X CPUs can really do!

Taken from Videocardz … AMD company has just announced a special event which is to focus on high-performance computing hardware such as AMD’s HPC processor like EPYC or GPU-based accelerators known as Instinct series.

AMD is expected to unveil its Milan-X EPYC series which are to feature a special 3D V-cache technology even before the consumer line known as Vermeer-X, which is too based on Zen3 microarchitecture.

Additionally, AMD might become the first to formally announce first products based on multi-chi-module design (MCM) even before Intel’s Ponte Vecchio (Xe-HPC) and NVIDIA GH100 (Hopper).

Executable Fix, who revealed the plans for the Instinct MI250 series just a few days ago, appears to agree that this launch is to feature both products, however, it is unclear if this is a hard launch or rather (and probably more likely) just an announcement of upcoming products.
