AMD Ryzen 5000 “Cezanne” APU Leaked

With Zen3 and Vega cores.

Keeping this HOT and one step (actually a few steps) ahead of Intel … AMD is already working on the Ryzen 5000 APU featuring Zen3 architecture and Vega cores.

Taken from Videocardz … It has been a few months since AMD introduced Renoir silicon for its Ryzen 4000 mobile series. Those few months have caused a lot of noise in the long-stagnant notebook market. After all, AMD Ryzen 4000 series was the company’s first 8-core mobile APU.

Last month AMD introduced the same Renoir silicon for desktop under Ryzen 4000G series. Although these have not made its way to the DIY market, it is possible to acquire them through Asian retailers or simply by find a listing on eBay.

The successor of Renoir is codenamed Cezanne. Of course, we have heard this name a few times before. The silicon would feature a hybrid of Zen3 cores and (unfortunately) yet another variant of Vega graphics. However, it is expected that a successor to Cezanne, known as Rembrandt will finally shift to newer graphics IP, possibly Navi-based.

AMD Cezanne APU spotted on Sisoftware’s website (spotted by @_rogame) was running on a platform called “Celadon-CZN Renoir”, implying that both series share the same physical design. The graphics benchmark detected that the APU features 8 Compute Units, which mean 512 Stream Processors in total. This graphics subsystem was running at 1850 MHz, which is 100 MHz above Ryzen 9 4900H Vega clock speed (1750 MHz). The current flagship Renoir APU also had 8 CUs. The software detected that the APU was running on a laptop.
